New job

4 weeks ago I landed a new job at 4mation.com.au. An awesome opportunity in every aspect, I’ll be working with another 5-6 developers and a full team of twelve. My new boss is only 24 (only a year older than me! :o) and conducts himself very professionally, something I am still trying to get a grasp on. This alone is cause enough for me to push myself further than I have previously.

On the same token, this job is a little nerve-wracking and not a little bit scary. Its pushing me out of my comfort zone into something completely new, but like my mate Adrian said: “We learn best when we’re pushed into the unknown”. For that reason, I know for a fact that this job in itself will teach me more than I have learnt in the past nearly 3 years with Amplitude/Juice Creative, which is the main reason why I’m taking this job.

Lots of stuff about to happen - new job, christmas and me and p are in the worst position we’ve ever been in and its all my fault. You learn so much about yourself through having a partner and although this is a good thing, I wish I knew of my own flaws before going out with p - maybe then she’d be happier and we’ll survive our current issues. I know what has to be done to keep her, but it involves such a dramatic change within myself that I don’t think she’ll be around to see it… I hope she is, I love her to death.
